Three black male suspects robbed a man in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood, around 1:24 a.m., said police.

According to police dispatch, the robbery occurred on the 1300 block of West Estes Avenue, near Estes and Glenwood Avenue.

The suspects reportedly asked the victim to show them which one of his credit cards had money on it.

The thieves took the cards they could use and tossed the rest, said authorities.

Investigators said the crooks also stole a cell phone.

All three suspects are believed to be in their teens.

One thief is approximately 6-feet-tall and has a goatee.

A second offender is about 5’7” and was last seen wearing a long red t-shirt.

A description of the third suspect was not provided.

  1. A credit card doesn't have "money on it," moron thug!

  2. Also, I'm not sure if "asked" is the appropriate term to use in this instance, something tells me the conversation wasn't, "Pardon me, sir, do you mind letting us know which card in here has the greatest available balance?"

  3. Credit cards dont "has money on it", but Link Cards do. These thugs don't even know the difference. Probably because they don't actually pay credit card bills...
