Man allegedly bites 'bouncer' at Boystown bar


Saturday evening, a fight erupted at a Boystown, Lakeview bar, said police.

Around 8:35 p.m., two men were trying to hold a man down in front of Little Jim's at 3501 North Halsted Street, said a 911 caller.

According to police dispatch, Little Jim's security was trying to subdue an intoxicated bar patron.

The offender bit a security guard on the arm multiple times, said police.

An ambulance was called to the scene to treat the bouncer's wounds.

The suspect was arrested around 8:37 p.m.

A preliminary report suggested the offender was taken to Thorek Hospital, 4009 North Broadway Street, for medical treatment.
