'10-year-old' wanted for theft at Edgewater neighborhood park


A suspect, described as a 10-year-old white boy, is wanted for theft at an Edgewater neighborhood park, said police.

The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m., at George Lane Beach Park, 5915 North Sheridan Road, near Sheridan and Thorndale.

The suspected 10-year-old thief stole a cell phone, said police.

The purported offender, who is approximately 5’4”, was wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, and sneakers.

He was last seen headed northbound on Sheridan Road.

It's unclear how the child allegedly gained access to the phone.

    Oh, the obvious 7 year olds by themselves on the CTA spitting those sunflower seed shells on the floor learned that "somewhere".

    Guess if I were interested in raising offspring, I'd get the H*LL outta Chicago.
