VIDEO: Woman who allegedly begged to use cell phone, threatened man on CTA Red Line

This woman was caught on tape behaving badly.

A CTA commuter videotaped an intense standoff between two passengers aboard a northbound Red Line train. The scene reaches its climax between the Argyle and Berwyn “L” stops.

It’s unclear when this incident occurred, but the footage was uploaded to Youtube on February 10, 2011.

According to the video’s narrative, the confrontation started after a woman begging to use a man’s cell phone, was denied her request.

In the one minute and forty-five seconds long video, a combative woman is seen putting her hands in a man’s face, calling him obscene names, and declaring her intentions to assault him.

The offender, who appears to be a Hispanic female in her late twenties or early thirties, exited the train at the Berwyn station at 1121 West Berwyn Avenue in Edgewater.

If you recognize this lady, please contact the police.

  2. Towanda, I would not have been as cool as the gentleman in that video. Underneath my calm exterior, lies a wicked temper. :-) I would have giving "Ms. Thang" a lovely parting gift!

It's so nice to be missed! :-)

  3. "Underneath my calm exterior, lies a wicked temper."....I know EXACTLY what you mean Timothy, I'm the same way. Do not get in my face or put your hands on me on the CTA or anywhere else for that matter or the devil will rise up from hell all over anyone who does it.

  4. When she said she intended to assault him, he had every right to get up and neutralize that threat. And that's exactly what I would have done. I would have bounced her around like a steel ball in a pinball machine. LOL!

  5. Ha! The video was shot with either a iPod Touch or iPhone4.

She is such a f*cking weirdo! And she needs to pull her pants up too. If that was a black guy right there, I seriously doubt she would've tried to act all tough with the threats. She got off at the Berwyn stop, so she must stay in that nut-house SRO building on Winthrop just a few doors south of Berwyn. And yes, I'm assuming!

  6. Skokie, she definitely picked her victim carefully. Poor guy. I guess that's what he gets for being TOO civilized in an uncivilized society!

  8. Why use minimal force? I think "woman" should be a term used very loosely when in regard to that ogre.

  9. If you want to be treated like a woman, act like one! She lost all claims to womanhood when she stuck her smelly fingers in that man's face!

  10. I just think men have to keep a certain standard when it comes to women

  11. and what standards does a woman have to keep? if she had a weapon on her he could have been killed or seriously injured. he should have knocked her ass stone out!

IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A LADY ACT LIKE A LADY! OTHERWISE ALL BETS ARE OFF!
