Much to my chagrin, I missed Adele's May 24, 2011, performance at the Riviera, 4746 North Racine Avenue in Uptown. But thanks to the magic (or piracy) of Youtube, here's a glimpse of the Rolling in the Deep singer's Chicago concert.
In the moments leading up to Adele's live performance of her smash it, Someone Like You, the British singer laughed and joked with the audience and displayed an "Adeleholics Anonymous" t-shirt.
Then, with guitar in hand, Adele gently launched into one of the most beautifully written songs in the history of music.
By the way, I want to thank Towanda for telling me about the concert. :-)
