Random police calls: 05/25/2011
9:11 p.m. - A suspicious person was spotted at the Edgewater CVS Pharmacy at 6150 North Broadway. A man was allegedly leering at costumers as they exited and entered the store. The suspect was described as a 25-year-old 200 pound black man wearing a navy blue shirt, black pants, and white gym shoes.
9:32 p.m. - Security at 1325 West Wilson Avenue reported squatters in one of the apartments. According to the 911 caller, the trespassers were refusing to leave the property.
9:34 p.m. - A robbery was reported at a Ravenswood neighborhood park. The incident occurred at Winnemac Park, 5001 North Leavitt Street. Authorities say six male Hispanics were involved.
9:50 p.m. - Police were investigating the arrival of an 11-year-old battery victim at Swedish Hospital, 5145 North California Avenue.
10:11 p.m. - A disturbance was reported at the Happy Grocery and Dollar Store at 1065 West Granville. An intoxicated black man wearing a red jacket was threatening people in the store, said the complainant. No weapons were seen or reported.
10:23 p.m. - A woman was reportedly robbed at the Addison Red Line "L" station, 940 West Addison Street. The woman's purse was stolen, said police. No further details were disclosed.
10:51 p.m. - A three-car accident with injuries was reported at the intersection of Foster and Washtenaw, which is approximately 5200 North Washtenaw. At least one ambulance was brought to the scene.

Love the "random 911 calls" reports. But I'm sure as I post this comment, there's another 10-20 disturbance calls of Black men giving the 911 center a MASSIVE headache!!!
