The strong-arm robbery occurred around 2:59 a.m., in the alley behind Clark’s restaurant at 930 West Belmont, near Belmont and Wilton Avenues.
A black male, believed to be in his twenties, stole the victim’s red Motorola Flip Phone.

The crook and three other black male suspects, fled the scene in a dark-colored, late model, four-door Nissan Altima, said authorities.
No arrests have been made.
Police are investigating.

Damn, not again! Why has Lakeview been under attack like this lately? It always be the dark complected blacks in street clothes up to no good.
ReplyDelete....and what are "men" doing in the ALLEY at that time when you have 20 gay bars and a bathhouse (purporting to be a "health club") right around the corner?
ReplyDeleteIt's not right, but it's o.k. They know their "market". Hell, if I didn't have a buck because I spent my last nickel of welfare on crack, I'd know where to go.
The red line is a stone's throw away and I'd venture to guess the victim was unloading groceries.
Once again walking the side streets in the wee hours, probably from a night of drinking "bad idea"
ReplyDeleteMost of the Lakeview area robberies always happen in the 2:30 - 4:00am hours walking down one the side streets
