I really like this site for the fact that it is a collection of interesting police blotter stories. The racism part is a little, erm, disappointing. But no need to egg them on. When a 14 year old girl gets shot in the back the last thing I think about is if there is an inferior race. :(
ReplyDeleteBenn, believe it or not, some of these stories are very hard for me to report. Listening to a child crying after she has been shot in the back, is very heartbreaking.

ReplyDeleteI think it's tragic this kid was shot but, I also wonder what she was doing out at that time of the morning. Where are her parents? Don't we have a curfew in this city? Maybe if it were enforced, some of these young people wouldn't be getting shot, raped or beat up. Ever consider that? What the hell is wrong with these kids parents? Why do kids want to endanger their lives and tempt fate?

What else are people suppose to call it when the facts are right in your face? If no description is given, who do the cops or the citizens look out for? If it's the ghetto thugs committing most of the crimes in this city, what do you expect people to say? I am soooo sick of people using this "politically correct" attitude to act like people aren't fed up with these ghetto thugs. Go ahead, look the other way, sweep it under the carpet and act like it doesn't exist because it isn't "PC". A city out of control is what we get for doing that. The ghetto thugs are what they are and that's not racist.

If the area isn't safe, it's up to the parents to enforce the curfew law in their home.
