Shoplifter arrested after theft at Portage Park Sears

A theft at a Chicago, Portage Park neighborhood Sears was reported at 9:03 p.m.

The exact location of the incident is 4730 West Irving Park Road, near the intersection of Milwaukee and Irving Park.

A thief, simply described a “man”, stole an air compressor from the Six Corners store.

At 9:05 p.m., an officer spotted the suspect near Jeff’s restaurant at 3901 North Cicero Avenue - where he was arrested.

According to police dispatch reports, the offender was still carrying the air compressor.

  1. WTF! An "air compressor?" How in the hell did this guy get out of the store carrying that in the first place? Looks like the employees were asleep at the wheel, including security.

    By the way, when I first moved to Uptown, I bought a LOT of stuff for my new apartment from this Sears. Awww... the good old days.

  4. If you want to do something for our environment you may use this air compressor. Because this compressor is not harmful like other compressor. Other air compressors are creating some harmful things, which are harmful for our environment. That’ why this air compressor is best air compressor.
