  1. Initially, it wasn't clear if anything was stolen, but a Chicago police officer confirmed the store was actually robbed.

  2. OMG. When I do go in this store, it's right about the time this robbery occurred. Getting Unscented White Rain and Chewy Lemonhead & Friends for a buck just ain't worth it. It ain't worth it.

  3. WTF! This is the store I go to to get my "necco's" that they order for me. I sure hope no one got injured but I'm sure they are quite shaken up. Ghetto thugs again! Useless scumbags occupying precious space. Always in pairs so keep a look out for this MO!

  4. Towanda, according to the 911 operator, the person who called 911 was terrified! All the person could say was, "A man with a gun is robbing the store! A man with a gun is robbing the store!"

No ambulances were called to the scene. So, I don't think anyone was physically injured. Psychologically inured? Yes.

Too bad the were on the "list"..seems a lot of family dollars and 7/11's are getting hit..hell, EVERY place is getting hit BUT I don't want to be "paranoid" or anything:)

  9. my partner was in there today, talked to a couple of the employees and they seem to be fine, no one hurt and not much money from the register was taken because they had counted it down and put it in the safe earlier so that was a lucky break. Other than that, they didn't want to say anything else. Probably tired of talking about it
