"Holly" Coyote Rescued from Block of Ice in Lake Michigan

The amazing rescue of a coyote given the name Holly by her rescuers, was captured on tape.

Holly was found floating on a small block of ice so far away from shore, you had to use binoculars to see her. And even then, the animal was barely visible.

When animal control made their initial attempt to scoop the nearly frozen critter from the chilly waters of Lake Michigan, Holly got spooked and dove into the water and managed to board a second floating sheet of ice.

The coyote was eventually rescued and examined by a veterinarian. Holly suffered some frostbite, but is expected to be Okay.
