A downtown, Chicago business located at 122 South Michigan Avenue, in the People’s Gas Building, was robbed at gunpoint.I became aware of the crime at 9:15 p.m.
The name of the business has not been disclosed, but there are several businesses on the street level, including Bennigan's and Au Bon Pain on East Adams Street, and Subway on South Michigan Avenue.
So far, I have not been able to determine how many people were involved in the robbery, but I’ll share the information I have.
At least one African-American man walked into the downtown business, pulled a black handgun, and ordered two male employees to the back of the store. Then the suspect stole $400.00 from the cash register.
The gunman was described as 5’9”, 190 lbs, and was wearing a black skull cap and a dark-colored jacket.
Because the employees were at the back of the store, they were unable to tell the police which way the thief went.
Ok, this is way out of control already. 9 out of 10 crimes being committed are AFRICAN-AMERICAN men. No wonder people are becoming more & more racist. What they hell do they expect, that we keep looking past color, keep shelling out all the freebies the city has to offer to them, keep being "politically correct"..not me..stay the hell in your own neighborhoods. You are not worthy to intermingle with the normal folks. All these people are, are evil, bottom feeding, loser scumbags. I think we need to open that Thompson prison and throw them ALL in there. They don't get it that they make people hate their entire culture, which is very sad for those in their culture who contribute to society.

ReplyDeleteThey're busy EVERY night, preying on all of us every where. See, they don't steal and rob in their own neighborhoods, they kill there. They come to the neighborhoods where hard working people earn the things they have and than, with their "what's yours is mine" mentality, rob us blind, EVERY DAY ALL THE TIME EVERY WHERE. They're like cockroaches.

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you feel that way, but I report the news as it comes. I have no control over who does what in Chicago. I simply report what happens.
I have had several people ask me why I include the race of the offenders in my reports. My response is and will always be, why not? I don't think real news should be filtered.
RIGHT ON Timothy! What's that old saying "if the shoe fits.." The facts are the facts and the truth hurts. To bad it doesn't get people mad enough to do something about it.
