Once again, the early morning peacefulness of Uptown was shattered by gunshots.
A suspect driving a white, Chevy Blazer, fired several shots at the local 7-Eleven, located at 4155 N. Broadway. No word on who the suspect was shooting at, or, if there were any injuries.
Last night, Chicago's police department deployed their Mobile Strike Force; in hopes of discouraging crime in Uptown. I have no idea how long the extra police officers patrolled the area, but at least one person wasn't moved by the show of force.
