Boystown: Robbery on West Aldine Ave.

Early Tuesday morning, police were investing a robbery in Chicago’s Boystown, Lakeview neighborhood.

Around 1:25 a.m., a victim, described as a white male, was robbed outside 530 West Aldine Avenue, near Broadway and Aldine, according to police dispatch reports.

Three black males approached the victim and stole his wallet and his iPhone, said police.

One robber was wearing a white tank top and baggy blue jeans with his boxers exposed.

The other crooks were wearing dark-colored clothing.

All three offenders are said to be 18 to 25 years old, 5’10’ to 6’2’, and 185 to 200 pounds. 

At the time of this report, the thieves were still on the loose.

  1. Non-news. The area has been written off by most. Enjoy your tourist business Halsted St. ('til you get your minds right - or some balls). Should have some activities or entertainment out there for non-punks/thugs or fat chicks beyond the hours of 4-7pm. It's blatantly obvious and patronizing. Shameful and hypocritical actually.
