At 12:04 a.m., someone, presumably the club’s bouncer, reported a man waiting in an alley behind Sibling’s at 2827 West Howard Street, near Howard and California, in Chicago’s West Rogers Park, West Ridge neighborhood.
The 911 caller reportedly said the man, who was carrying a shotgun or a rifle, was waiting to ambush someone who was still inside the bar.
The gun-toting suspect was described as a bald, male black with a dark complexion, about 35 to 40-years-old. The suspect was reportedly wearing a leather jacket.
Investigators said a considerable amount of time had passed before the incident was reported to police.
Responding officers searched the area, but there was no indication authorities made contact with the suspect.
