Three offenders assaulted a man on a CTA Red Line train early Wednesday morning, said police.

At approximately 3:22 a.m., a man was “beat up” on a train at the Clark/Division subway station at 1200 North Clark Street, according to police dispatch.

The incident was allegedly reported by CTA.

The offenders were described as three male Hispanics, 18 to 19-years-old.

One offender was wearing a black coat with a red hooded sweatshirt underneath, said police.

After the assault, the assailants got off the train and fled in an unknown direction.

Police did not give a motive for the attack, nor did they disclose the victim's condition.

  2. How are you gonna say make the blacks ride in the back when it was clearly stated that the offenders were hispanic. In either case prejudice is not needed in this world. There is crime in each race it is just the minority race that gets all the media attention.

  4. Well, blacks "only" account for 70 - 85% of the violent, person on person crime in Chicago, so here's your 15%.

  6. Yall watch too much tv. Not all black people are like that. And those leaving racist comments are in the same boat with the violent and disrespectful people they talk against. People of every race commit acts of racism violence and so on. You have a mental problem if you think only black people are violent and rapists and ignorant.
