Widespread ignorance was reported throughout the U.S. Friday as shoppers and shoplifters alike, lined up to grab a pair of Air Jordan 11 Retro Concords.
Mobs broke down mall doors and fought each other like rabid dogs over the $180 sneakers.
No major injuries were reported, but we suspect most of the people who stood line suffer from a preexisting mental disorder.
Case in point: One woman was arrested after she allegedly left two small children in a car while she joined the hunt for Jordan's pricey footwear.
At Lafayette Square Mall in Indianapolis, Indiana, crazed zombies disguised as customers, ripped each other's clothing off and knocked each other out of their shoes as they fought like starving third world countrymen, wrestling over the last piece of food.
According to a prerecorded message, the Nike shoe store at 669 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago, released their Jordan's December 23, around midnight.
So far, we have not been able to unearth any reports of violence or arrests.
However, we did find a YouTube video of a guy who stood in line, in the cold, waiting to buy a pair of the overpriced gym shoes.
