Police stop North Side robbery in progress

Authorities arrested two suspects following a robbery in Chicago’s West Rogers Park, West Ridge neighborhood.

Apparently, police were driving by while the victim was being beaten and robbed.

A detailed description of the offenders was not provided.

However, according to police dispatch, the 2:12 a.m. robbery occurred outside 2740 West Devon Avenue, near Devon and Fairfield.

The address belongs to a business called Patel Satellite.

An ambulance was called to the scene to treat the victim‘s injuries.

The robbery victim was eventually taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois, in unknown condition.

  1. Good the cops were patrolling BUT, there are not enough cops in the world to stop these ghetto thugs. They aren't afraid of anything and hurting innocent people is what they thrive on. They know they won't get caught and even IF they do, they get a slap on the wrist. The police have a tough job out there. Tougher sentences, holding parents responsible If the offender is underage, holding the pawn shops responsible and CC is what will start getting these ghetto thugs OFF the streets!
