Naked Man Covered in Blood Found Wandering South Side

At 2:45 a.m., several people reported a naked man covered in blood near the Marathon gas station at 1839 East 95th Street in Chicago’s Jeffery Manor neighborhood.

Burger King customers at 1701 East 95th Street, also made similar reports.

Witnesses described the man as African-American, 6'2", and about 230 lbs. The man's hair was styled in dreadlocks.

Eventually, the man was spotted by a police officer near a White Castle hamburger restaurant at 9450 South Jeffery Avenue. The officer confirmed the man was "completely naked and covered in blood".

An ambulance was called to the scene.

No further information is available.

  1. Any update on this? Such a weird story and this is the third time White Castle has been mentioned in these articles. Sometimes I just have to have a slider but I'm wondering if their really worth it;)

  2. towanda, I was hoping one the big boys would pick this story up. This story dominated the airwaves (scanner) for nearly 15 minutes.

    I love White Castle's burgers! I almost had to go to burger rehab! :-)
