Possibly Intoxicated Man Removed from Howard “L” Station

People are barely safe in Chicago when they’re sober.

Around 2:39 a.m., police were called to the CTA Howard Red Line “L” platform at 7519 North Paulina Street in Rogers Park, to assist an apparently unconscious man.

When officers arrived, they determined the man was extremely intoxicated. In fact, the man’s condition was so severe, an ambulance was called to the scene.

The man was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston for treatment.

  1. I ride the red line home every night after 2 am and this is such a pebble in the ocean for the type of horrible behavior and people and lack of security and cleanliness that exists on the red line. No wonder ridership is down and people are scared and disgusted with the CTA.
