Police are looking for a 31 or 35-year-old man wanted for domestic battery on Chicago’s northwest side. The violent incident occurred around 5 a.m., on the 1700 block of North Spaulding Avenue.
The suspect is African-American, 5’10’, 200 lbs, has black hair and brown eyes, and was last seen in the company of a man wearing a gray hoodie.
Police said the offender is armed with a handgun.

Police responded to the 7800 block of S. South Shore Drive, around 3:54 a.m.
Although the victim told police she was carrying a baby and was assaulted, she still refused medical treatment.
I second that one..the type of guys who join gangs ALSO beat women but lets add beat seniors as well. If we could only do the "eye for an eye" thing, we could get, let's say, the football coach from Glee..to give him a bit of his own medicine.
ReplyDeleteAbout "descriptions". Start looking at their shoes (they won't ditch their expensive shoes) and jeans. Gray and black hoodies are everywhere..so are "puffy black coats". It's the winter attire for these ghetto thugs. Shoes and jeans are way harder to take off. Just a thought.
towanda, I agree. Describing their shoes is an excellent idea. Also, study their faces for any distinguishing characteristics.
ReplyDeleteAs someone who used to spend a lot of time drawing celebrity faces as a kid (a strange hobby until people starting paying for the pics), I would make one hell of a witness. Not only could I tell you what the suspect looks like, I could draw you a picture. :-)
I really think in this day and age of perpetual crime, we MUST be more aware of our surroundings and pay closer attention to these thugs. Most of them are wearing jeans with emblems or something on the back pockets that's why checking out the jeans gives a better description and those shoes? Hell, it's what they take pride in.The face is another good suggestion;) I have a question though...they wear their pants past their crack so how can they run without losing them? And if they're holding them up with one hand, how can they run fast?
ReplyDeletetowanda, there have been several instances where criminals were captured because they tripped over their own baggy pants. Some of them are smart enough to wear a belt to keep their britches from falling down.
ReplyDeleteOver the police scanner, all you hear is, "male black holding his side". Police interpret that gesture to mean the offender is possibly armed, but most of them are really just holding up their pants! LMAO!
