The exact time of the shooting has not been confirmed, but Chicago News Report became aware of the shooting at 1:34 a.m.
According to police, the gunshot victim was sitting in a white Chevy Malibu when gunfire struck the vehicle.
The victim was taken to an area hospital and is in stable-to-good condition.
