Phoenix police are trying to unravel the mystery surrounding the death, and possible murder of a 6 or 7-year-old boy.
The child's body was found next to a dumpster near 65th and Roma Avenue in Phoenix's Maryvale neighborhood. The crime scene is a block away from Holiday Park Elementary School at 4417 North 66th Avenue.
Priscilla Palma told reporters she heard "mumbling" in the alley where the child's body was discovered, after her dogs' barking woke her up at 4:30 a.m.
Phoenix police believe the boy was targeted. However, residents in the area aren't sure if a serial child killer is on the loose.

Tragic that these cowards killed a child and before the too. Only people without a conscience kill. Pure evil.
ReplyDeletePhoenix police seem to think the killer may be related to the child.
ReplyDeleteThese types of stories make me physically ill. Anyone who can hurt a child is a waste of space and needs to be dealt with swiftly.
Sad news but why is this on a chicago news blog?
ReplyDeleteslowdrug, if you visit WGN, ABC, or Fox they all have stories from other states. Every now and then, I find a story this isn't in Chicago and share it with my readers.
ReplyDeleteI'm toying with the idea of creating a general news blogs dedicated to news around the world.
