A 3-year-old was shot in the head at 1311 North North Street, in Peoria, Illinois. The shooting occurred December 10, 2010, late Friday evening.
The child was shot when several bullets struck the home, which is located near the intersection of North North Street and West Columbus Terrace.
Shots were also fired into a vehicle that was parked outside of the home.
One witness said the shots sounded like they came from a machine gun.
When this report was written, the injured child's condition was still unknown.
