Just one day after a North Side, Chicago Catholic high school made the decision to close its doors forever - cops were called to keep the peace.
On Wednesday, March 14, 2012, the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago announced they are closing St. Scholastica Academy, 7416 North Ridge Avenue, at the end of the school year... when "disgruntled parents" showed up this afternoon, the school's principal called police, said authorities.
A Sister at the Rogers Park high school made the call around 3:10 p.m., according to police dispatch.
Citing police communications, there was a small group of angry parents outside the school and the principal wanted to make sure things didn't get out of hand.
The media was also outside the school... possibly trying to get footage of Rod and Patti Blagojevich's daughter, Amy, said one source.
As of 3:43 p.m., there was no indication there was any trouble at the all-girls Catholic high school.

So the church paid out so much in punitive damages to molestation victims that it now has to close a school that has been open for over 140 years.
