Nothing says Christmas like being stabbed by a so-called loved one.
A south side Chicago man probably isn’t in the holiday spirit after being stabbed by his girlfriend. The crime occurred around 2:26 a.m. on the 8200 block of South Eberhart Avenue.
Police said the 24-year-old man was stabbed in the left arm.
The offender, an African-American woman, fled the scene in a black Grand AM with a temporary tag.
This year, someone is definitely getting coal in their stocking.

When she stabbed him, was he by himself? Maybe he'd been slapping her around. About time woman said "I'm made as hell and not gonna take it anymore". Too funny about the "coal in the stocking"..
ReplyDeleteWho knows what happened?
ReplyDeleteBut I got the impression this guy was a victim. Usually, if a woman is defending herself, she will either stick around and explain what happened, or she will contact the police and tell them her side of the story. As far as I know, the woman involved in this crime did neither. Instead, she got in a car and fled the scene; which makes her look guilty to me.
Besides, it is a well documented fact that some women are the aggressors in domestic violence situations. I have seen countless women pick fights with their partners, seriously injure them, and even kill them.
Frankly, I don't understand people who stay in relationships where physical and verbal abuse occurs. The first times someone uses abusive language with me, I am done. There can be no love, where there is no respect. And life is too short for unnecessary foolishness.
