A high school student was attacked and robbed in the Edgewater neighborhood.
Around 7:48 p.m., police were called to the intersection of North Glenwood Avenue and West Thorndale Avenue, after a victim, described as a high school student, was choked and robbed.
The crime scene happens to be located near Nicholas Senn High School, 5900 N. Glenwood Ave.
The student told police he was approached by two African-American men. One of the men choked him until he was unconscious, and the thieves stole his wallet and his cell phone.
Both suspects were wearing baseball caps. One of the men was wearing a “naval academy jacket”. No further details were provided regarding the offenders’ descriptions.
