North Side cabdriver hit with beer bottle
A Chicago taxi driver was attacked on Chicago’s North Side.
The assault happened around 7:15 a.m. at 6335 North Artesian Avenue in West Rogers Park.
According to officials, the cabby was double-parked when he got into a verbal confrontation with two men in a light blue Toyota Echo.
One of the suspects threw a beer bottle and struck the cabby in the face, said police.
The cabdriver sustained a cut to the face, said an officer at the scene.
The offenders were described as a male white and a male Hispanic. They were last seen driving southbound on Western from Peterson Avenue.
