2:20 am --- A pregnant woman was shot in her right thigh, on Chicago's south side.
The victim called from an apartment on the 6700 block of south Campbell Ave. According to police, the woman was shot by a passenger in a black, four-door, Acura with tinted windows. The shots were fired from the back seat.
The vehicle was last seen headed westbound on 68th and Western.
Nearly 20 minutes later, mainstream media reported the story with most of the important details - missing.
