Operation Just Cause: Chicago Police Crackdown on Gangster Disciple Street Gang

David A Buckner killed in gang shooting at Ada Park.

As a result of the senseless shootings at Ada Park (11250 S. Ada St.), the Chicago police department has implemented “Operation Just Cause”.

On August 8, 2010, David A. Buckner was shot and killed, while attending the “Roots Fest” picnic. Not only did the cowardly act of violence take an innocent man’s life, three others were also wounded, when rival gangs fired into the crowd.

“Operation Just Cause” is a zero tolerance crime sweep, aimed specially at the Gangster Disciple street gang.

Let’s hope they make lots of arrests and the judges do more than slap them on the wrists!
