I was at Foster Beach until 6pm today. Things were starting to heat up and I saw several groups of Latin Kings walking around. They must have gone into the wrong McDonalds.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, there were so many reports of Latin Kings causing trouble in the Uptown/Edgewater area today, I could barely keep up with them.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be a very brutal summer.
When I saw the title, I thought this was going to be about the McDonald's on Wilson Ave in Uptown.
ReplyDeleteI posted above as "anonymous", not realizing that I could assign myself a name.
ReplyDeleteSomething is wrong at the beach when people are wearing black jeans and long sleeved shirts with gang colors when its 86 degrees out.
I'm thankful for this forum because everyone who lives in Chicago knows, many things happen that never make it to the evening news.
yeah, baggy jeans and oversize shirts are not exactly beach attire.
ReplyDeleteI'm so tired of people shooting and "ganging"; so tired of people not thinking about their end in their lives...(how will there lives end)...one cannot expect any reward after death when they take another's life...
ReplyDeleteI used to live right down the street from that paticular McDonald's on 5240 N.Sheridan Rd.That place ws always trouble from the start.
ReplyDeleteI ate there 2 summers ago. The restaurant was surprisingly peaceful that day. Normally, there is an unsavory crowd gathered there.
ReplyDeleteI truly feel sorry for the businesses that are being negatively impacted by this nonsense.
Pass by the front of Amundsen High School in the morning or afternoon and smell the fragrance of smoke. Who controls the smoke? the guys and gals in the above described costumes. You'd think they might be a little less obvious. But no one seems to care. Certainly not the administration of the school. It's not the smell of the smoke that's relative; it's who you pay to get it. And what everyone pays for this time honored drama.
